BDO appoints new head of Legal area in Valencia

BDO Spain has appointed Javier Gómez-Ferrer Senent new head of BDO Abogados´ Legal area in Valencia, replacing Francisco Vallés

Javier Gómez-Ferrer, a State Attorney on leave of absence, joined BDO Abogados in Valencia in 2019 from the Ministry of Justice. He is a Law graduate from Universitat de Valencia, and as a State Attorney, his experience in the Legal field extends to practically all areas of law, being especially intense in Administrative, Tax and Criminal matters (fight against tax fraud).

As a State Attorney, he coordinated the Criminal Law area of the State Attorney’s Office in the Valencian Community and was Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Valenciaport Foundation and Legal Advisor and secretary of the Board of the Valencia Intermodal and Logistics Platform.

Until now, Javier was a director at BDO Abogados Valencia and headed the firm´s Legal Operations area, which was established in June 2021. He also teaches Administrative Law at Universidad Católica de Valencia.

With this appointment, Javier Gómez-Ferrer joins BDO Legal Area Management Committee, which, headed by Ignacio Legido.
