Inmaculada, who comes from PwC, has more than 20 years of experience as an expert in Labour Law and its implementation, legal defence in national oral proceedings, international arbitration and subsequent appeals, as well as in providing recurring advice to managers and companies in complex matters both nationally and internationally.
She also has extensive experience in restructuring, negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, insolvency proceedings and equality plans, among others, and has been featured in Best Lawyers in Spain since 2017. Inmaculada Herranz is also a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the CEU San Pablo University, an associate lecturer in the Department of Labour Law and Social Security at the Antonio de Nebrija University and a lecturer in Sports Labour Law at the ISDE Law & Business School.

The Labour and Employment area of BDO Abogados, led by Montse Rodríguez in Spain, has around thirty professionals and has experienced significant growth in recent years, especially highlighting the preventive labour advice services provided to more than 1,300 companies, litigation, collective bargaining, labour due diligence processes and drafting of manuals and internal policies.

Prior to Inmaculada’s incorporation and since 2015, BDO’s Labour and Employment area in Madrid was led by Ignacio Sampere, who continues as Of counsel linked to the management team, collaborating and advising clients and professionals in the area in the development and consolidation of the practice.
This incorporation is part of the growth strategy of the BDO Abogados area in Spain, which has more than 280 lawyers between the offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Globally, it has experienced an expansion in all regions, including LATAM.
