Marta Arteaga holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad de Alicante and a Master´s degree in Industrial and Intellectual Property and New Technologies from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She joins Bir & Bird from BAYLOS, where she was an expert in Industrial and Intellectual Property and in Unfair Competition. Previously, she worked at Uniforo Abogados, where she specialised on IP and Unfair Competition Litigation and advised on national and international trademark registration matters. She has also worked at EUIPO, where she was trained as a decision taker within the Operations Department, especially, on most of the cases related to relative grounds of articles 8(1), (4) and (5) EUTMR, dealing with double identity and likelihood of confusion, proof of use, belated evidence and reputation.
Guillermo Rodríguez-Viña is a Law graduate from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and got his Master´s degree in Access to the Legal Profession from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He joins Bird & Bird from EY Madrid, where he was a Labour lawyer. He had previous experience as a trainee at Evershed Sutherland.
