Balder gets €12.7m turnover, grows 5%

Balder, a law firm specialising in Intellectual Property, has a turnover of €12.7 million in 2021, growing 5%, coinciding with its tenth anniversary

By 2022, Balder expects to experience a 5% growth and will focus on new areas such as the technology industry, start-ups, and the new dimension that Intellectual Property and, in particular, Industrial Property will take on within the metaverse.

In terms of staff, the firm opened its doors in 2012 with 12 employees. Year after year, this number has grown to 95, with 10 partners, which represents an increase of 87.4%.

Balder’s client portfolio has also grown over the years, from the initial 300 in 2012 to 4,500 in 2021. With respect to 2020, the increase has been 10%, as it has added 450 new clients.

Balder operates directly and indirectly worldwide, with both domestic and foreign clients. In addition, the firm’s team is made up of almost 20 different nationalities and speaks more than 30 languages. In Spain, the firm has 4 offices (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Pamplona) and its staff combines face-to-face and remote work in different parts of Spain and Europe.

During its ten years of history, the firm has also increased its presence in national and international rankings.
