Since the beginning of his professional career, Jorge has advised clients on Intellectual and Industrial Property, as well as in Data Protection and Telecommunications matters. His interests have always been focused on industries such as Tech, advertising, music, TMT, or any other including IP. On the other hand, he recognises to have a genuine passion for disrupting technologies, such as AI or Blockchain.
Jorge is a member of the first graduating class of the degree: Law and Specialization in ICT at Universidad de Deusto. He got his Master’s degree in Access to the Legal Profession from Universidad Pontificia Comillas where he also got his Master’s degree in Intelectual Property. He spent a year at the Stockholms Universitet thanks to the Erasmus programme.
Taubmann is the author of the paper (end-of-degree thesis) “Legal personality and civil liability of robots. Artificial Intelligence.” The research briefly analyses the inclusion of robotics and Artificial Intelligence in society, as well as the protection afforded by Law. The purpose of the study is to analyse the challenge of the technology and its legislative adequacy, as well as its consequences in the European framework.
