José Ramón has a solid professional background and more than 23 years of experience in Commercial and Civil Litigation, as well as in domestic and international Arbitration. He has also advised numerous clients on Intellectual Property and Insolvency proceedings, both nationally and internationally.

This brings the number of partners in the Ashurst Madrid office to 15.

For Jorge Vázquez Orgaz, managing partner of Ashurst Spain, the incorporation of José Ramón Casado “reinforces our extraordinary Litigation and Arbitration team, one of the best in Spain for highly complex technical matters, and a strategic area of the firm.”

Jorge also highlighted that “José Ramón is an excellent addition to the Madrid office, as he brings experience and expertise that complements our current practices and allows us to enhance our offering to our clients further. José Ramón is a highly respected professional whose extensive track record makes him a great fit for us. We are delighted to have him join our team.”

José Ramón Casado commented: “I am very excited about the opportunity that Ashurst gives me to face new challenges as part of a Litigation and Arbitration team that, for me, is undoubtedly one of the best in the Spanish market, not only for the type of matters and clients they handle but also for the excellence of the professionals who make up the team, starting with Jose Antonio Rodríguez. It is a privilege to be part of the Ashurst project, and I will do my utmost to ensure that the firm continues to achieve great success.”

In the words of Ashurst Disputes partner José Antonio Rodriguez: “I am delighted with the incorporation of such an extraordinary professional into our team. I have known José Ramón for more than 20 years, and his track record as a litigator and arbitrator is impeccable, so I am proud to be able to count on him in our ranks. The incorporation of José Ramón will consolidate the growth of our litigation and arbitration practice, offering even more comprehensive advice to our clients”.
