These promotions are in line with the firm’s strategy of promoting professional careers in the firm, as well as the projection of younger professionals in positions of responsibility, as shown by the access of partners to equity and the new position of international partners that this entails.
The managing partners of Andersen in Iberia, José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre have highlighted that these appointments represent “a new milestone, as this promotion has approved the access to partnership and equity of the youngest professionals in the history of the Firm, with the promotion of Carlos Morales to partner and the appointment of Javier Bustillo as a quota partner.” “This is a reflection of the constant improvement of the partnership model and the functioning of the firm, and is also the result of the involvement and the great capabilities of the professionals at Andersen.”
The 2023 promotions are in different areas, in particular Public Law, Culture, Corporate and Tax, which, according to the managing partners, “demonstrates the balance in all practices and reflects the firm’s obsession with sustainable growth”. “Our growth policy is based on high specialisation, and that is why we continue to reward the experience and knowledge of the team and to invest in the careers of the firm’s professionals in order to respond to the needs of both the national market and the global firm,” said Morote and Rodríguez-Sastre.
