According to Andersen, this is “one of the largest raised by a startup this year in Spain and, at the same time, one of the largest in the road transport sector in Spain.”
The Spanish startup that optimises long-distance freight transport has secured backing from Volvo Group Venture Capital, Continental’s venture capital unit, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and FondICO.
The company will use the capital injection to boost the electrification of its routes, strengthen its team, acquire new businesses and further expand into new long-haul corridors.
Andersen’s M&A team was led by partner Javier Bustillo, together with senior associate Teresa García and associate Mayo Torres.
