Andersen advises Alter Enersun on €225m PV projects acquisition

Andersen has advised the solar energy company Alter Enersun on the purchase from Edora of a portfolio of 150 MW renewable projects

-

Andersen´s Corporate and M&A Law and Energy areas have advised Alter Enersun, a company in the field of renewable energies that offers solar energy solutions, on the acquisition from Edora of a portfolio of three photovoltaic projects that together amount to 150 MW, which can be expanded to 250 MW of power, valued at €225 million.

The three projects, which are in the development phase, have a feasibility study report issued by the network operator, Red Eléctrica de España (REE).

This transaction is Alter Enersun’s first acquisition as, to date, the company has developed, built and operated its own photovoltaic parks with extensive experience in the sector, as demonstrated by the projects that will soon be connected and in operation in Cáceres with a peak power output of more than 130 megawatts. The projects are expected to reach ready-to-build status and obtain all the necessary permits, licences and authorisations to start construction work, according to forecasts, during the fourth quarter of this year.

Andersen´s team was led by Corporate and M&A director and member of the Energy group Ignacio Blanco, along with Corporate/M&A lawyers Santiago López and Diana Palazón.
