The club has made effective the acquisition of approximately 23 hectares of land located in the municipality of Vilablareix, which will become the headquarters of the City Football Academy Girona. The new red and white home will host the activity of the first teams, men’s and women’s, Genuine and training football.

One of the hybrid turf pitches will also have a grandstand for spectators. The facility will have all the necessary equipment to host both the first division team and the Academy.

The estate will maintain the La Massana farmhouse, built in the 16th century, which will become the institutional headquarters and offices of Girona FC. The building has more than a thousand square metres where the different departments of the Club will work. Work is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2023.

The City Football Academy will not only be the exclusive property of Girona FC. The Club will carry out different actions for the preservation of the environment and improvements that will have a positive impact on the municipality and its neighbours.
