According to TTR´s year-to-date market intelligence, the M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital and Asset Acquisitions dealmakers ranking by deal value in Spain is headed by Allen & Overy partner Íñigo del Val, with €7.7 billion, followed by Freshfields partner Armando Albarrán with €6 billion and Allen & Overy partner Fernando Torrente and counsel Teresa Méndez with €4 billion each.
By number of deals, the list is headed by Gómez-Acebo & Pombo partner Álvaro Mateo, with 11 deals, DWF-RCD partner Iñaki Frías and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo partner David González with 10 deals both.
The rising star category is leaded by Freshfields lawyers Asís Martín de Cabiedes and Ignacio Baena and Allen & Overy lawyer Leopoldo Reaño by deal value and Inés López Seco, Luis Gutiérrez García and Mónica Martells by number of deals.
