Alibérico adds Legal director from OSSA

Alibérico has appointed María Spottorno Zuloaga, who joins from OSSA, as its new Legal department director

María joins Alibérico from OSSA, where she joined in 2017, and she has been the legal director and secretary of the Board of Directors.

She is a specialist in the resolution of national and international commercial disputes and litigation, and her extensive legal knowledge, analytical skills, and strategic vision help her to bring to the end litigation that others consider lost. In 2018, she led a lawsuit against the Norwegian administration worth €16 million, which she won.

As an expert in legal risk assessment, she advises the business on client contracts with the company’s strategy in mind, anticipating legal issues and giving each situation the relevance it has, with integrity.  

She has wide experience in international law, also selecting, coordinating, and managing external law firms. She has worked with teams from Norway, Israel, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, and Italy.

She has professional experience in medium-sized companies (OSSA) and law firms such as Aguayo-Ejaso, Garrigues, and Palacio y Asociados, being well acquainted in the Banking, Construction, Service Stations, Food, and Real Estate sectors.

For 25 years, she has also been managing real estate assets from a legal perspective, increasing their value.

A Law graduate from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, she also holds a Master’s degree in European Communities and PDG by IESE.
