Alantra adds Legal director from Prisa

Alantra has hired Ana Montes Ayuso, who joins from Prisa, to be a new director in the firm´s Legal department

She jumped to the company world in 2018 when she joined Prisa as an in-house counsel. Now she leaves Prisa to be the new director in Alantra´s Legal department, a global alternative asset management, investment banking, and credit portfolio advisory firm focusing on providing high value-added services to companies, families, and investors operating in the mid-market segment. The Group has over 540 professionals across Europe, the US, Latin America, and Asia.

Ana prepared for the State Attorney Public Competition Examination. She started her professional career at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo as a Corporate junior associate in 2009 and she remained there until 2014. Then, she joined Linklaters as Corporate managing associate. During her time at the magic circle law firm, she specialised in advising industrial and financial clients on M&A and restructuring operations, both national and international, participating in all phases, from the due diligence process, coordinating various departments, to the preparation and negotiation of contracts (SPAs, SHAs, JVAs, TSAs, etc.) and other ancillary documentation (corporate agreements).

She is a Law & Business Administration graduate from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE-E3) with a stay at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain).
