Julio studied at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, in Mexico, where he graduated as the third best in his class. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from ESADE and a Master’s Degree in Access to the Lawyer Profession. He is a lawyer admitted to practice in Spain (ICAB) and Mexico, as well as with several courses in finance and project management.
Since 2015 he has been part of the Corporate M&A and Crisis Management and Business
Continuity departments of AGM Abogados, advising all types of companies and investment
funds on mergers and acquisitions, distressed M&A, corporate law, commercial contracts,
refinancing processes and insolvency proceedings.
In 2021 he became head of these areas in the Barcelona office, as well as Head of the Latam Desk inaugurated in November 2021, which he leads together with Julio Rocafull, M&A Partner in the Madrid office. Now, as a new Partner, his challenge is to continue the growth of the M&A and Crisis Management departments, and to consolidate the expansion of the Latam Desk.
