AGM Madrid launches Immigration and International Mobility area

AGM Madrid headquarters has a new Immigration and International Mobility practice and hires lawyer Marc Fernández to lead it

-

Since January 2022 at AGM Abogados Madrid and in coordination with Mª Eugenia Blasco Rodellar, partner of the Immigration area, it finally has a physical department with the aim of offering its clients closer and quality treatment. Likewise, the Immigration area collaborates with numerous universities and business schools of recognized prestige in Spain, offering both organizational and internal advice to universities and their students through immigration policies and information sessions.

Marc has more than four and a half years of experience in the sector. He began his professional career at AGM in 2017, and two years later, he rejoins the AGM team, this time in the Madrid offices.

Marc Fernández de la Peña is a lawyer specializing in Immigration and International Mobility of Workers and is now responsible for carrying out all the actions proposed for the growth of this area in Madrid: “the ultimate goal is for foreign talent to have at your fingertips all the opportunities to access the Spanish Labour market” he commented.

He is a Law graduate from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona. In 2016 he took the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Abat Oliba CEU University. Marc highlighted that AGM Abogados is a firm with more than 35 years of experience that has an international team of more than 100 professionals, spread between Madrid, Barcelona, Sabadell and Paris. “We are specialized in each of the different areas of law, which allows us to offer a 360º service to our clients. We advise both companies and individuals. It is for this reason that the Immigration area will become one with greater potential for the Madrid headquarters,” he added.

During his professional career, he has managed all kinds of client portfolios: individuals, SMEs, multinationals and large national companies, as well as different universities and business schools in Barcelona and Madrid.

A few months ago, the AGM Madrid headquarters changed its offices to new and more modern ones at Paseo de la Castellana, 140 in Madrid, as part of its commercial and brand strategy for 2021-2022. In line with this, its directors decided to incorporate new professionals within the sector in the areas with the greatest growth, starting in this case with the Immigration area. This area provides comprehensive advice to companies, individuals and agencies in all migration processes (residence and work permits, expatriation policies and worker transfers).
